Art Clokey, the creator of the clay figure Gumby, died in his sleep Friday at his home in Los Osos, California. He was 88.
Gumby was one of my favorite animations as a child. The shorts were creative and unique. Art, you will be missed by many but always remembered in Gumby. Thanks for the happiness you brought to me.
