Somewhere in Dreamland is a 1936 animated short and is part of Max Fleischer's Color Classics series. The story opens with a brother and sister bringing firewood home to their poor mother. Along the way home they admire goodies displayed in a bakery window. Once they get home, their mother feeds them pieces of dried bread and water for supper and sends them to bed. Later that night, the children dream of a land filled with ice cream cones, popcorn fields, toys, and nice comfortable beds. They wake up the next morning to find a feast on the table and toys around the house brought to their house by three of the merchants they passed on their way home the night before.
