Classic TV commercial for Downy Fabric Softener which aired in 1963. It features mom "Betty Martin" as she tries new Downy which makes the whole family happy. Downy entered the U.S. test market in August 1960 and went nationwide in December 1961. This spot aired during the TV soap "Search for Tomorrow".
