Conspirator is a 1949 thriller starring Robert Taylor, Elizabeth Taylor, and Robert Flemyng. It tells the story of a young American girl who falls in love a British Army officer. After a storybook marriage, she finds out that he is a Communist spy and demands that he choose between his marriage and his ideology. Soon afterwards, his spy masters tell him that she must be done away and he faces the choice between his career and his wife.
