Pure, mild Ivory. Ivory isn't just for the baby- you can use it to wash dishes, too! As the commercial says, "More doctors advise Ivory for the skin than any other soap". After a week of washing dishes with Ivory, you'll have hands "that were meant to go places".

Meet Gene Autry Contest (1946)

This vintage theatrical commercial announces an upcoming "Meet Gene Autry" contest that was shown in theaters in 1946. The winner would get to meet Gene Autry in person, have lunch with him, get a personalized autographed photo, and attend the rodeo at Madison Square Garden as his guest. The World's Championship Rodeo was scheduled from October 8th to October 26th. This is a wonderful vintage clip and most certainly an exciting contest for all of the kids.

Oldsmobile- Driving Magic (1948)

This short was created to showcase the Oldsmobile Hydramatic automobile. The automatic transmission was developed by both General Motors' Cadillac and Oldsmobile divisions.The Hydramatic was the first fully automatic mass-produced transmission developed for passenger automobile use.
