In the episode, Lucy calls in sick to work so that she can accompany her roommate Carol to a golf tournament in Palm Springs. Carol is going there to perform with her music group The Vagabonds. While sunbathing, the two are approached by the hotel manager who is surprised to see Lucy as he thought only one woman was in the group. Carol explains that Lucy is in the group and a plan is set up to include her in the act. This episode aired on November 7, 1966.
