Somewhere In Dreamland (1936)

Somewhere in Dreamland is a 1936 animated short and is part of Max Fleischer's Color Classics series. The story opens with a brother and sister bringing firewood home to their poor mother. Along the way home, they admire goodies displayed in a bakery window. Once they get home, their mother feeds them pieces of dried bread and water for supper and sends them to bed. Later that night, the children dream of a land filled with ice cream cones, popcorn fields, toys, and nice comfortable beds. They wake up the next morning to find a feast on the table and toys around the house brought to their house by three of the merchants they passed on their way home the night before.

Casper the Friendly Ghost- Boo Moon (1953)

Boo Moon is a classic 1950s animation short featuring Casper the Friendly Ghost. It begins with Casper emerging from a subway station following a crowd of scared strangers. He finds a man offering a look at the moon through a telescope and approaches him but scares him away. Casper looks through the telescope and sees the smiling man on the moon and decides to go there for a visit. Boo Moon is a theatrical cartoon short that was released on January 1, 1954 in 3D format as a Stereotoon. It was produced by Famous Studios for the Casper the Friendly Ghost series and distributed by Paramount Pictures.

Betty Boop- The Old Man of the Mountain (1933)

The Old Man of the Mountain is a classic Betty Boop animation produced by Fleischer Studios and was released on August 4, 1933. It opens with a classic appearance by Cab Calloway and his Orchestra and Calloway voices all of the characters in the cartoon save for Betty herself. The cartoon tells a story in music about the old man on the mountain. As Betty Boop climbs up to confront him, she is met by many coming down the mountain, each falling for her charm. Betty Boop was voiced by Mae Questel.

King Neptune- Silly Symphonies (1932)

King Neptune is a classic 1932 animation by Walt Disney and is the second in the Silly Symphonies series. It was produced in Technicolor. The short follows the story of a group of mermaids that are spotted by a shipload of drunken pirates. The pirates capture a mermaid and various sea creatures respond in full battle mode. Neptune also comes to her rescue. This animation was directed by Burt Gillett and was released on September 10, 1932.

Mickey Mouse- Mickey's Garden (1935)

This animated classic features Mickey Mouse and Pluto as they attempt to rid Mickey's garden of insects. The solution is to make up a batch of insecticide but Mickey ends up getting sprayed himself. He wakes up to a warped reality where he and Pluto are now being chased by the insects. This funny animation is the second Mickey Mouse cartoon released in color.

Noveltoon: The Stupidstitious Cat (1946)

In this classic animation, a superstitious cat tries to catch a crow (Buzzy) for breakfast. It is a parody of Jack Benny and Rochester.

Max Fleischer News Sketches (1940s)

In this funny video short, animator Max Fleischer sketches cartoon illustrations that are based on odd news stories that he reads. This video dates back to the mid 1940s. Max Fleischer brought such animated characters as Betty Boop, Koko the Clown, Popeye, and Superman to the movie screen.

Hollywood Capers is a short animated film of the Looney Tunes series. It follows Beans the Cat as he disguises himself as Oliver Hardy and sneaks into a Hollywood movie studio lot. Once inside, the mayhem begins.

Popeye the Sailor- Parlez Vous Woo (1956)

Olive is so captived by "The International", a radio personality with a French accent, that she'd rather stay home than go out on a date with Popeye. This originally was released on September 12, 1956.

Popeye: I Don't Scare (1956)

Popeye and Bluto vie for a date with Olive in this animated short. As Olive is superstitious, Bluto changes the date to Friday the 13th, and proceeds to rig various proofs that bad things will happen if she goes out. Animation by Tom Johnson and Frank Endres. Music by Winston Sharples.
