Thanks For The Memory (1938)

"Thanks for the Memory" was a song introduced in the film The Big Broadcast of 1938 by Shep Fields and His Orchestra with vocals by Bob Hope and Shirley Ross. The song won the Academy Award for Best Original Song, and became Bob Hope's signature tune which he used for the rest of his career.

Guy Lombardo formed The Royal Canadians in 1924 with his brothers Carmen, Lebert, and Victor and other musicians from his hometown. The billed themselves as creating "The Sweetest Music This Side of Heaven".
