"Thanks for the Memory" was a song introduced in the film The Big Broadcast of 1938 by Shep Fields and His Orchestra with vocals by Bob Hope and Shirley Ross. The song won the Academy Award for Best Original Song, and became Bob Hope's signature tune which he used for the rest of his career.

Texaco Commercial- Bob Hope (1970s)
In this classic commercial for Texaco, Bob Hope shows up dressed as a cowboy and talks about the great gas blends that Texaco offers. He shows the blends Sky Chief, Fire Chief and Lead-free Texaco. The jingle for this spot is "The Good Guys Always Wear the Star". This commercial aired in the 1970s.

New Orleans World's Fair- Show Boat (1984)
This video clip is from an eighty-first birthday celebration for Bob Hope, taped at the New Orleans World's Fair. It is a sketch parody of Show Boat starring Bob Hope, Brooke Shields, Placido Domingo, Red Buttons, John Ritter and Twiggy aboard the River Queen on the banks of the Mississippi in New Orleans.
