Dr. Jekyll And Mr. Hyde- Full Movie (1920)

Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde is a 1920 horror silent film based upon Robert Louis Stevenson's novella The Strange Case of Dr.Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. The film was directed by John S. Robertson starring John Barrymore and co-starred Nita Naldi.
This story of split personality, has Dr. Jekyll a kind and charitable man who believes that everyone has two sides, one good and one evil. Using a potion, his personalities are split, creating havoc.

A Quaint Little Railway (1930)

This short, silent film captures one of Britain's minor little railways: the Leek and Manifold Light Railway on the Staffordshire Moorlands. The railway opened in 1907, linking the villages of Waterhouses and Hulme End, and was built mainly for agricultural traffic, with a passenger service being a secondary consideration. Its route went through beautiful countryside in Staffordshire although the intertitles state it as being shot in Derbyshire.

In 1934 the entire line was closed by the North Staffordshire Railway. There is little in the way of recorded film material of this quaint little train, so this gem gives an invaluable insight into the railway. (Stuart Smith, Midlands Railway Centre)

Clara Bow- It (1927)

Funny scene from the 1927 film It. In 1927, Bow reached the heights of her popularity with the film It; the film was based on a story written by Elinor Glyn, and upon the film's release, Bow became known as "The It Girl". The "It" referred to sex appeal.

Modern Times- Charlie Chaplin (1936)

This film is Charlie Chaplin's final stand against the synchronized sound film - and it is also his last full-length "silent film" - although it must be noted that it is a quasi-silent film. The following clip shows the classic ending.

Little Annie Rooney Movie Trailer (1925)

Mary Pickford starred as a girl of the slums in William Beaudine's 1925 silent comedy-drama Little Annie Rooney, set in New York's Lower East Side. Audiences found nothing unusual about 32-year-old Mary Pickford portraying a 12-year-old, and this became one of her more successful films.

Character Studies is a short film starring Carter De Haven impersonating Roscoe "Fatty" Arbuckle, Jackie Coogan, Douglas Fairbanks, Buster Keaton, Harold Lloyd and Rudolph Valentino. This video shows a classic vaudeville performance.

The Oath and The Man- 1910

Griffith short has Henry B. Walthall playing a perfume shop owner who one days gets a visit from a French Nobleman. The Nobleman smells a lovely young woman's scent and invites her to a party but this woman just happens to be the owner's wife. The wife goes with the Nobleman but the husband doesn't do anything until the French Revolution comes around and he sees his shot at revenge.

A commenter states:

The scenes at the very end are from the "official" footage of Griffith, Douglas Fairbanks, Mary Pickford and Charlie Chaplin celebrating the forming of United Artists in 1919, an independent distribution company that released their individual films while retaining their rights to them. The company outlived all of them, even though it's a "component" of SONY these days.
