Bread- Make It with You (1977)

Watch as Bread performs their smash hit "Make It with You" live on The Midnight Special in 1977. "Make It with You" was their first top ten and only number-one single on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart in the United States. It spent the week of August 22, 1970, at the top spot. The Midnight Special is an American late-night musical variety series that aired on NBC during the 1970s and early 1980s.

The Morey Amsterdam Show- Jacqueline Susann

This clip from The Morey Amsterdam Show features Jacqueline Susann as "Lola the Cigarette Girl". This episode aired April 21, 1949 on the DuMont Television Network. Irving Mansfield, her husband at the time, was the producer of both the radio and TV versions of The Morey Amsterdam Show. Jacqueline Susann was born in 1918 and appeared in several TV shows throughout her career. She later came famous as author of the novel Valley of the Dolls, which was published in 1966.

In this comedy short, The Three Stooges help a destitute mother and her daughter by utilizing the money from the child's piggy bank and winning a horse race. A couple of con men met up with them and convince them to buy a washed up retired race horse named Seabasket. While taking care of the horse, Curly swallows a Vitamin Z pill meant for the horse and things begin to change. Even As IOU is the 65th short by The Three Stooges and was released on September 18, 1942.
