Vintage Chicago Billboards (1942)

To Market, To Market was produced by the Handy (Jam) Organization and sponsored by the General Outdoor Advertising Company. It takes a look at outdoor advertising in and around Chicago. There are great vintage shots of street scenes, vintage automobiles and advertising unique to the period.

The focus of this production was to explain the strategy of outdoor advertising and to encourage advertisers to use it. There are great shots of vintage billboards as well as examples of graphic art and advertisements of the day.

Gilbert O'Sullivan - Alone Again (Naturally)- 1972

"Alone Again (Naturally)" is a song by Irish singer–songwriter Gilbert O'Sullivan. It was released in 1972 and spent six weeks at #1 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 singles chart. The track reached #3 in the UK Singles Chart.

Midnight Special-Sanford Townsend Band (1977)

Great live performance by the Sanford Townsend Band on The Midnight Special where they perform their classic hit "Smoke From a Distant Fire". This song reached #9 on the Billboard Hot 100.

We Five - You Were On My Mind

We Five was a 1960s folk rock musical group based in San Francisco, California. Their best-known hit was their 1965 remake of Ian and Sylvia's "You Were on My Mind" which reached #1 on the Cashbox chart, #3 on the Billboard Hot 100, and #1 on the Adult Contemporary chart.

The Romantics - Talking In Your Sleep (1983)

Music video for the hit single "Talking in Your Sleep" by The Romantics. The song appeared on the Romantics' 1983 album In Heat and was their biggest chart hit. The song reached #3 on the Billboard Hot 100 in February 1984. It also went to #1 on the Hot Dance Club Play chart in the U.S., where it remained on top for two weeks.

Janet Jackson - Nasty (1986)

"Nasty" is the second single from Janet Jackson's third studio album Control (1986). Released in 1986, the single peaked at number three on Billboard Hot 100 and number one on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs, and remains one of Jackson's signature songs.

Walter Murphy - A Fifth of Beethoven (1976)

"A Fifth of Beethoven" is a disco instrumental recorded by Walter Murphy and the Big Apple Band. It was adapted by Murphy from the first movement of Beethoven's 5th Symphony.

The song when released entered the Hot 100 at number 80 on May 29, 1976, and took 19 weeks to reach number 1, where it stayed for one week. Early in 1977, it was licensed to RSO Records for inclusion on the soundtrack to the movie, Saturday Night Fever. "Fifth" was released in 1976 becoming Murphy's best known work and his only Top 40 hit on the Billboard Hot 100, where it reached the #1 position for one week. It also went to number 10 on Billboard's Black Singles chart in the same year.

"Hard Habit to Break" is a song written by Steve Kipner and John Lewis Parks produced and arranged by David Foster and recorded by the group Chicago for their 1984 album Chicago 17, with Bill Champlin and Peter Cetera sharing lead vocals. Released as the second single from the album, it reached number three on the Billboard Hot 100 and number eight on the UK Singles Chart. The record was nominated for the Grammy Award for Record of the Year.

Evelyn 'Champagne' King - Shame (1978)

"Return to Innocence" is a 1994 song created by the musical group Enigma. The single was the first from their chart-topping second album, The Cross of Changes.

It became one of the project's most popular international singles, reaching number one in over 10 countries (including Greece, Norway, Sweden and Ireland), number two on the US Modern Rock Tracks chart, number four on the US Hot 100, number two on the UK Singles Chart, the Top 5 in Austria, Germany, New Zealand, Netherlands, Switzerland and South Africa. It reached the Top 10 in Italy and France.

Need You Tonight- INXS (1987)

"Need You Tonight" is the fourth song on INXS's 1987 album Kick as well as the first single from the album. It was also the only single of the band's to reach #1 on the Billboard Hot 100.
