The Psychedelic Furs - Heartbreak Beat (1987)

The Psychedelic Furs are an English rock band founded in 1977. Led by singer Richard Butler and his brother Tim on bass guitar, the Psychedelic Furs are one of the many acts spawned from the British post-punk scene. "Heartbreak Beat", from their 1987 album Midnight to Midnight, was the Furs' biggest Top 40 entry in the US.

Vintage Clip- Lawrence Welk (1938)

Vintage 1938 clip of the Lawrence Welk orchestra featuring singer Lois Best. Welk opens up with his theme "Bubbles In The Wine" followed by Lois Best singing "I Go For That". The band finishes with "Ain't She Sweet".

Vintage clip from The Band Beautiful featuring an all girl band singing "Chasin' the Blues Away". The IMDb had this to say about the group::
The Ingenues are an 18-piece, all-women band. Dressed in matching frilly white dresses with flowers sewn on, they perform. They start with an up tempo piece featuring three brief solos. Then Frances, an accordion player, fronts the orchestra and leads them through a piece that features eight more accordions. A harp solo is followed by a cello duet. Then, more than a dozen banjos take over: after a few licks, they break into a spirited vocal of "Chasin' the Blues Away."
